She was already deputy director of the Tour de Provence, since 2019, and of the Tour de Savoie Mont-Blanc, since 2020.

The Women's Tour de France will consist of eight stages, all broadcast on France Télévisions.

The first will be judged on the Champs-Élysées, before the final arrival of the men.

The route for this edition will be unveiled on October 14 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris.

On October 1 in Le Parisien, Marion Rousse explained to what extent a women's Tour could serve as a locomotive for women's cycling: “I'm sure that the next generations of Frenchwomen will be good because vocations will be born.
