The French national team won the second edition of the European Football Championship by defeating its Spanish counterpart 2-1 in the final that brought them together today at the San Siro stadium in Milan.
The Spanish team opened the scoring in the 64th minute through Mikel Oriazabal and Adel Karim Benzema quickly for the French team two minutes later and in the 80th minute Kylian Mbappe scored the first goal for the Dukes team, ending the final with France winning 2-1.
Italy had won the third place in the championship after beating Belgium 2-1 in the match for the third and fourth place that took place earlier today.
It is worth noting that the first edition of the European Nations League lifted its cup after Portugal defeated the Netherlands 1-0 in the final in 2019.
