Cristiano Ronaldo continues in his excellent personal period, and after picking up the Premier League Player of the Month title last night (Saturday) he continued to shatter records.
CR7 became the European footballer to play the most international games yesterday, wearing the shirt of the Portuguese national team for the 181st time during the 0: 3 victory over Qatar in a friendly match.
Ronaldo played half and also scored, of course, with a close-range push in the 37th minute.
It was Ronaldo's 112th goal in the national team uniform, widening his gap over Ali Dai who until recently held the record for conquests in international football, until the Portuguese overtook him.
Ronaldo is currently on 47 conquests in the last 45 appearances for the team, and despite his age, is not even starting to smell the end.
"I am always proud to represent my country and wear this uniform. It was another test, and we are moving forward with our dream ahead of the World Cup," Ronaldo wrote on Instagram after the game.

Fernando Santos, the veteran coach of Portugal who is highly valued by Ronaldo and knows him very well, continued to sting the coach of the Manchester United star, Ola Gunnar Solskjaer.
Before the game, Santos said in response to Ronaldo's bench against West Ham (resulting from a load he had) that "he is the one who should be on the pitch", after which he repeated similar things.
"Ronaldo needed playing time because he was on the pitch last week. So I decided to give him 45 minutes. He's the one who has to play, always. Training is not enough for him. He has to feel the ball, touch it, be on the pitch in real time. In training it is It's just not the same, so it was important to share it, "Santos explained, hoping Solshiar would hear and learn.
