The ESC is missing a complete block

Injury misery at the River Rats before the match in Peißenberg: Martin Köhler (nose) and Ondrej Horvath (hand) were operated on this week, further failures are threatened.

The 31-year-old had struggled with damaged adductors for a while, now the doctor has given him a six-week break.Martin Köhler will be absent for an indefinite period of time. The use of Daniel Merl, who was injured in the face in a fight against Miesbach, is also questionable.

"I hope that I can get three blocks together," said Sternkopf before the next match on Sunday at 5.30 p.m. at TSV Peißenberg.

Normally he is not a fan of play-free dates: "But given our misery, the play-free Friday was of course ideal." For example, because Bernhard Jorde was able to cure his knee injury and complete the defense again in the derby.

After all, the Peißenberger started the season with wins in Dorfen (4: 2) and against Amberg (5: 2).

And Christian Kratzmeir's squad won the last preparation game in Geretsried 4: 3.

“The whole thing is a matter of the head,” says Sternkopf.

"We have to take as many points with us as we possibly can through and through this phase."
