Barcelona went into the national team break with the worst momentum possible, when they were defeated 3-0 by Benfica in the Champions League and lost 2-0 to Atletico Madrid.
However, ahead of returning from the break the Catalans have received good news that may help them do what they have failed to do in the last two games - score.
Without its representatives in the various teams, Ronald Koeman's team continues preparations for the difficult home game against Valencia (Sunday, 22:00), and the training held yesterday (Monday) was joined for the first time by the two recoverers - Osman Dembele and Sergio Aguero.
The Frenchman was injured during the Euros and is still not a partner this season, while the Argentine has not even made his debut in his new team uniform.
It is not yet clear whether the two will already be fit for the meeting against the bats.

At the same time, Barcelona continues to stare at possible reinforcements for the team.
Raheem Sterling's name has once again made headlines in Spain following his refusal to extend his contract at Manchester City.
However, the English champions are currently refusing to sell him in January.
Barcelona's sporting director, Matteo Almani, is expected to work for the Englishman's addition only in the summer and only if Dembele leaves.
The Mundo Deportivo has raised questions about Sterling's inclusion in the squad, as unlike Dembele who plays on the right wing, the Englishman plays on the left wing which is already staffed by two of the team's big stars - Memphis Depay and Anso Patti.
The question arose not only about Sterling's collaboration with the two wingers, but also about the club's priorities, which need more acquisition in other positions.

Another player that Barcelona is following is Milan midfielder Frank Casilla.
The Ivory Coast national team player is ending his contract this summer and all indications are that he will leave at the end of the season as a free agent.
Thus, Barcelona will be able to sign him without a transfer fee, similar to all the signings it made last summer.
The Rossoneri midfielder is in no hurry to make a decision on his next destination, with four other big teams also following suit: Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool and Manchester United.
