Danny Abdia continues to remove rust before the start of the NBA season.
Tonight (Tuesday-Wednesday), the Israeli stepped on the floor for the second time since returning from injury, finishing with 6 points, 6 rebounds, two assists and a steal in Washington's 113-108 loss to Toronto in the preseason.
It was the Wizards' penultimate warm-up game ahead of the regular season opener, and although the team has yet to win all three of its pre-season games, it feels it is on the right track.
The optimism stems mainly from the team style of play, in what appears to be a positive change compared to last season with Russell Westbrook and then-coach Scott Brooks.
Danny Abdia also enjoyed the cooperative style of play, and in his 19 minutes on the floor, during which he played in positions 2-4, touched quite a bit of the ball and was a partner in making decisions on offense.

"He was good. His fitness continues to improve," Washington Wes Ansled Jr. complimented Abdia at the end. "His sense of the game, the understanding of what we're trying to do - he's progressing nicely. It's going to take him a while to be fit, but he's been better tonight. effective".
Enseld knows that players like Abdia who feed on team play will enjoy more in a less solo style. "Moving the ball is a top priority for us. We want to share the ball as much as possible because it is contagious. We need more and more of that," he explained.
Washington reporters also note favorably the change, which is supposed to better reflect its loss.
"Danny Abdia reads the game nicely in relation to the player who was stuck in the corners last season," blogger Matt Moderno wrote, biting Scott Brooks.
NBC Washington also praised the Israeli and wrote: "Abdia showed positive signs. He did an outstanding job in moving the ball, helping the attack to improve the dynamics of the attack with side-by-side dedication and timed dedication."
The goal: to optimize the minutes of Abdia.
