Danny Abdia continues to remove rust before the start of his second season in the NBA. Tonight (Tuesday-Wednesday), the Israeli forward made his second appearance in the pre-season games, and was a partner in Washington's 113-108 loss to Toronto as he finished with 6 points (2 from 5 from the field, 1 from 2 from the penalty spot), 6 rebounds, two assists and a steal. In 19 minutes. It was the Wizards' third loss in the preseason games, and they will hold another preseason game against Detroit on the night between Friday and Saturday before the regular season opener.

Unlike the previous game against the Knicks which was one-sided and accompanied by a squeaky attack from the Wizards, this time Wes Ansald Jr.'s team showed improved ability, especially when it comes to three-point shooting.

Abdia went into action in the middle of the first quarter, joining an experimental lineup of Wizards without a natural coordinator, in which he was often involved in offensive decision-making.

In those minutes Abdia scored a basket in a burst and added two beautiful assists, one of them after an isolation he received with his back to the basket, while illustrating the attempt to make him a creative player on offense.

The half ended in a draw, and despite a good third quarter for the Wizards they finished in plus 8 and enjoyed another positive move from Abdia, including a beautiful three from a dribbling, the final quarter was completely controlled by the Raptors, who made a comeback and went on to win next week for their first regular season game.

The Wizards were led by two newcomers Kyle Kozma (24 points) and Monterz Harrell (17), with Daniel Gaford adding 14 and 17 rebounds and Bradley Bill settling for just 7 points.

The leading scorers in the Toronto ranks were ex-Holon Malkai Flynn with 22 and Sam Decker with 18.
