Ski legend honored with film about career - at the premiere, he sits right next to the couple heir to the throne

A film about the life of the legendary ski racer Aksel Lund Svindal was recently released.

At the premiere, the Norwegian welcomed two guests of honor.

Oslo - Norway is not only known for its northern lights and beautiful landscapes, but also for its winter sports enthusiasts.

The Scandinavian country is considered the birthplace of many disciplines and apparently knows how to deal with its legends.

One of the most successful ski racers of all time is Aksel Lund Svindal.

The 39-year-old Norwegian was recently honored with a film about his career, and Svindal received important visitors at the premiere.

On Wednesday evening, the film entitled 'Aksel' premiered in the Coliseum in Oslo.

Among the many prominent guests, two particularly stood out.

Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the premiere of the Steifens and even sat right next to the main protagonist and his girlfriend, the hurdler Amalie Iuel, as a picture on his last Instagram post shows.

The two guests of honor made a touched impression.

In the documentary, Svindal is accompanied in his final season as a professional athlete in 2019.
