The race will start on July 24, the day the gentlemen arrive on the Champs-Elysées, for a course of eight stages.

Then, from 12:45, the 109th edition presentation will come, which will run from July 1 to 24, 2022. For the time being, only the first three stages in Denmark, the northernmost start in history, have been made official.

"The first week in 2022 will be aimed very largely at a type of runner like Alaphilippe, Van der Poel or Van Aert, who can attack 50, 60, 70 or 200 km from the finish and race the race", promises Christian Prudhomme.

The first named, double world champion, will be present in Paris in the same way as the double reigning winner of the event, Tadej Pogacar.
