The Seattle Kraken, a brand new NHL franchise, claimed the first victory in its history 4-3 in Nashville on Thursday, on Matchday 2 of the North American Ice Hockey League.

Jared McCann, Twice Brandon Tanev and Alex Wennberg have all four goals in a historic Seattle franchise game.

The Kraken, who led 2-1 at the end of the first half, managed to maintain their goal for the rest of the meeting.

On NHL's inaugural day in Las Vegas, against the Golden Knights, Dave Hakstol's men had already done well but lost 4-3.

Thirty-second franchise to join the NHL, in the Western Conference, Seattle will play its first five away games.

His first home meeting is scheduled for October 23, against the Vancouver Canucks.
