Let's face it, it's easier to recognize Tadej Pogacar when he walks down the Champs-Élysées in the heart of summer, helmeted but wearing his Tour winner's yellow jersey, as has already happened to him twice (2020 , 2021).
This Thursday afternoon, we doubt that many motorists have succeeded in identifying the 23-year-old Slovenian as he descended the long Parisian avenue, hair in the wind, with a simple backpack giving him false airs of student, followed by his fiancée Urska Zigart.
Pogacar had just attended the presentation of the Tour de France 2022 race route at the Palais des Congrès.
Long held back by his media obligations, he did not come out until more than an hour and a half after the end of the ceremony.
Accompanied by the runner Urska Zigart met in 2018, and with whom he lives and trains in Monaco, the UAE team runner agreed to pose for a few pictures with passers-by, before inquiring about the location of a Vélib 'station.

Finally, it is an electric Lime model that the couple found for their walk in the capital, which also led the lovers in front of the Eiffel Tower.
As for the next Tour, Pogacar considers it “interesting from the first to the last stage”.

"Sprints, wind, cobbles, short climbs, long ones, steep ones," he detailed.
It will be a really complete Tour.
I can't wait to start.
There are a lot of suitors, we'll talk about that when we get there.
I just finished the season, I need some rest before I start thinking about 2022. There's a little more pressure when you've already won, that's for sure.
