The question of the future of Osman Dembele is evolving into another saga for Barcelona.
The Frenchman, whose contract expires at the end of the current season, sent a message to the club's heads that he is interested in renewing the agreement, but that his agent Musa Sissoko is transmitting other intentions.
The "Mundo Deportivo" wrote this morning (Saturday) that last Wednesday a meeting was held between Dembele's representative and the Barcelona management in which no progress was recorded.
According to the Catalan media, the club feel that Sissoko "spreads" them while offering Dembele to teams in the Premier League, with Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea mentioned as possible targets for the winger, who could conclude a free transfer starting this January if he does not sign before then. On a contract extension in Barcelona.
With and without it, it has also been argued that Barça continue to think of Raheem Sterling as an option to strengthen in the upcoming transfer window.

Meanwhile, in Spain this morning a surprising comeback was announced that could take place at the Camp Nou.
According to TV3, Danny Alves "contacted a senior member of Barcelona's sports management" and offered himself as a candidate to return and wear the Blaugrana uniform.
The 38-year-old right-back left Barcelona five years ago as a free agent and last month released his contract in Sao Paulo following delays in salary payments.
It should be noted that Alves, who is the most decorated footballer in history and was a partner in Barcelona's three Champions League victories, will not be able to join any team until January 1.
The report also states that the Brazilian is willing to play for a low salary.
