Belarusian Victoria Azarenka (32nd player in the world) qualified for her third final of the WTA tennis tournament in Indian Wells on Friday, after defeating Latvian Jelena Ostapenko (29th in the world) in three sets 3-6, 6-3 , 7-5.

The 32-year-old player, winner of the 2012 and 2016 editions and winner of the US Open in 2020, had won in the previous round against the American Jessica Pegula (24th world) in straight sets, 6-4, 6- 2.

She will face the Spanish Paula Badosa (27th) in the final on Sunday, Ons Jabeur, 14th in the world (6-3, 6-3),
