Maccabi Tel Aviv coach Patrick Van Leven heard tonight (Saturday) many fans of his team calling on him to resign during and after the 4: 2 loss to Maccabi Netanya.
It was the trophy holder’s third league loss of the season in just six rounds and it came despite her leading twice.
The last time Maccabi Tel Aviv lost three games in the first six rounds was in the 2007/08 season.
The Yellows - tonight in white - looked nervous and stressed and their team continues to move away from the top.
The club is in shock and the situation is at the door of owner Mitch Goldhaar, who will have to decide whether he is giving the coach a chance to improve the team or he is considering replacing him.
Maccabi Tel Aviv expected the team to look much better and compete for the championship with good success rates, by far but the team does not look good and since it is not possible to change players, Van Leven's status is unstable.
Can't find answers.
