Bayern Munich defeated its host Bayer Leverkusen by five goals to one in the match that brought them together today in the eighth round of the German Football League “Bundesliga”.
Bayern Munich scored five goals, Robert Lewandowski "two goals", Thomas Muller and Serge Gnabry "two goals" in the 4th, 30th, 34th, 35th and 37th minutes, while Patrick Schick scored Bayer Leverkusen's only goal in the 55th minute of the match.
With this result, Bayern Munich regained the top of the “Bundesliga” standings by reaching 19 points, while Bayer Leverkusen fell to third place with 16 points.
