Philipp Schöttl, who had just made it 3-1 for SV Polling, was grabbed by Murnau's Kevin Diemb while trying to get the ball out of the net quickly. Diemb got red, Schöttl got yellow. Shortly before the kick-off, Max Baumgartner was also presented with the red box, which was completely incomprehensible at SV Polling. "Referee, whistle, please," pleaded SVP coach Robert Färber. Shortly after the final whistle, the coach said: "I really have to pull myself together."
The more than debatable referee performance was not the only trigger, which spoiled the pollingers the afternoon at TSV Murnau. "Three injured are extremely bitter," said Färber. The result - the SVP was defeated by the leaders of the district league 1 with 1: 3 - was almost a minor matter. “We were beaten below value”, Färber agreed with the presentation of his team.
Max Hensel hit the TSV goal early (4th). The referee did not recognize the hit. "Even Murnau fans said it wasn't offside," said Färber angrily. A little later, Michael Schöttl steered a sharp cross to make it 0-1 into his own goal (11th). Murnau's Bastian Adelwart increased to 2-0 (17th). The SVP then made the game evenly balanced, with dangerous actions remaining in short supply. For Murnau only Georg Kutter (41st) had a chance.
In the second half, SVP keeper Mathias Schuster stayed in the cabin due to a capsule injury on his toe. In the absence of a second goalkeeper, striker Hensel took over his post. Nevertheless, the people of Pollingen pushed for the connection. Max Baumgartner (53rd) failed because of TSV goalkeeper Felix Schürgers, who collided with Philip Gößl a little later. The SVP captain had to leave the pitch with a rib injury. Immediately afterwards, Marcel Mayr suffered a torn muscle fiber. Still, Polling continued to fight. After a relief attack by TSV, Kutter went down in a duel with Fabian Berg Kutter in the penalty area. The foul sank the penalty to 3-0 (82nd). The SVP continued to run - Schöttl scored at least 1: 3 (90th + 3rd).
