The Ministry of Interior honored the distinguished players and knights who achieved advanced positions and won gold, silver and bronze medals in Arab and international championships.
The Minister of Interior, Major General Muhammad al-Rahmoun, indicated during the honoring that determination, continuous training, and determination lead to achieving the best results, noting the achievements made by the players of the Syrian Police Sports Federation.
Minister Al-Rahmoun indicated that this honor comes within the framework of the ministry's interest in sports and providing support to ISF athletes to improve their performance and achieve the best results in international tournaments.
The honor included the knight, Lieutenant-Colonel Mahmoud Al-Masry, who won first place in the multiple goals match, fourth place in the Kasai Style match in Iran, and the jockey Walid Khawajkiya, who ranked sixth in the Kabak match in Iran.
The honoring also included the players Naglaa Sharqi, who won a gold and a silver medal, Aphrodite Ahmed, who won a silver medal, and Mary Ali, who won a silver in the Arab Championship for Fencing Clubs, in addition to coach Adham Saqr.
Among the honorees are Wael Al-Saeed, who won a gold medal, a silver medal, and another bronze, and Ibrahim Al-Hassan “silver and bronze in the Arab and Arab clubs’ kickboxing championships, and Ahmed Al-Ali, who won fourth place in the World Youth Championship for Weightlifting, along with coach Qais Asaad.
