A bizarre event in the Ukrainian sub-league: midfielder Vitaly Boyko, star of Karmin Kremenchuk, is being investigated on suspicion of selling a game after it appears he is celebrating a goal scored for his team.
The controversial incident took place in the game against Uzhgorod and left the spectators stunned, although there were also those who claimed that Boyko's reaction was an act of sarcasm towards his teammates, for their poor defensive work.
Documentation of the goal shows Boiko (No. 18) waving both hands high in a happy move as soon as the ball hits Carmin's net, though the player apologized and explained that the strange reaction was due to frustration and fatigue following the long drive to the game.
According to the Ukrainian media, the ethics committee and the fair play in the local football association investigated the case, but found no problems with it.

Watch and decide for yourself: Did Boiko celebrate the opponent's hair?
"The media stated that I wanted us to absorb a goal, but if you look at the whole video you can see that I waved two hands and then I got upset. I was not happy about the goal. How could a person encourage his opponents after spending 20 hours on the bus to get to the game?" To suspicions against him.
"I watched the replay of the game. Everyone makes mistakes, maybe the fatigue did its thing. We went to Uzhgorod to get a win, we needed three points there."
Beyond that, the Ukrainian midfielder added that none of his teammates had asked him about the strange reaction and the issue was closed to them.
It should be noted that Karmin Kremenchuk was already involved in the game bias affair in the 2019/20 season.
