The LFP has chosen Benoît Bastien to lead the Clasico on Sunday, at the Orange Vélodrome stadium.
Mr. Bastien has extensive experience with clasicos.
It was he who, last season, refereed the opposition between the two teams, in a closed Velodrome, the season.
He had notably expelled Dimitri Payet.
In addition, Mr. Bastien was on the whistle during the infamous Nice-OM, which resulted in very serious outbursts at the end of August as well as rather heavy penalties.
The match will be replayed at the end of the month behind closed doors in Troyes.
Mr. Bastien had supported the choice of the Marseillais not to resume the meeting but had also been criticized for having waited too long to interrupt the game.
A warm atmosphere is to be expected, knowing that PSG has not met the Marseille public since the hot duel played at the Parc des Princes, at the start of the 2020-2021 season - victory for the Marseillais 1-0.
The referee of the match, Jérôme Brisard, then distributed 19 cards, including 5 red.
The duel had in particular been very tense between Alvaro Gonzalez and Neymar.

A native of Epinal, Benoît Bastien, 37, arrived in Ligue 1 in 2011, is not the favorite referee of the Marseillais. During the five clasicos he has led, OM have indeed lost five times and notably experienced a 5-1 rout at the Vélodrome in 2017. Olympian supporters have some grievances vis-à-vis Mr. Bastien . They reproach him pell-mell for having refused a goal to Lucas Ocampos in March 2015 against Lyon (0-0), for having granted two generous penalties in their eyes to PSG (2-1) in October of the same year. Finally, in October 2018, the goal of the equalizer refused to Mitroglou, against PSG, for a supposed fault of Strootman, was not completely digested.
On Sunday evening, Mr. Bastien will be assisted by Benjamin Pagès and Aurélien Berthomieu on the sidelines, while Johan Hamel will take on the role of fourth referee.
