Riyad Mahrez scored two goals and Manchester City provided a dominant performance away from home to regain its balance and crush its host to contribute to Manchester City's victory over its host Club Brugge 5-1 in the Champions League today.
City's easy victory came after losing away to Paris Saint-Germain in its previous match in the first group, raising its score to six points, two ahead of its Belgian opponent.
Joao Cancelo and Mahrez scored to put the England champions 2-0 ahead at the end of the first half at Jan Bridle, and Kyle Walker and young substitute Cole Palmer and Mahrez again added three more goals after the break.
Hans Vanaken scored Brugge's only goal nine minutes from the end.
