The experienced opener isn't sure if he'll be on the November tour with the Wallabies. Discussions are underway between his Japanese club and the Australian federation.

Back in the forefront on the international scene to play the last four matches of the Rugby Championship in September and October with the Wallabies, Quade Cooper (33 years old, 72 caps) is not certain of playing the November tour in Europe. That's what he told Japanese reporters:

“Right now, I'm not 100% sure, there are conversations still going on behind the scenes between the Wallabies and the Kintetsu Liners

(his Japanese club based in Higashiosaka, Editor's note)

. ”

If Quade Copper were to be absent, young opening half Noah Lolesio and James O'Connor are the only specialists in the position in Dave Rennie's team.

Although the versatile Reece Hodge started two tests under the number 10 last year.

Australia will face Japan (October 23), Scotland (November 8), England (14) and then Wales (21).
