Many cheers and smiles were recorded on the bench of Paris Saint-Germain last night (Tuesday) after Mauricio Pochettino's players scored a hard and dramatic 2: 3 over R.B.
Leipzig in the home stage of the Champions League.
The host took an early advantage from a goal by Killian Ambape, but saw the Germans force a makeover and go up to 1: 2.
At this point Ambape and Lionel Messi took command, when the Frenchman cooked the Argentine the 2: 2, and squeezed a penalty that Messi scored on the way to a big 2: 3, while the offense of Ambape's penalty in extra time did not cloud the local joy.
The two stars of the game recorded impressive milestones each: Messi became the third player in the history of the French runner-up to score three goals in his first three appearances in the Champions League, when before him Neymar and Mauro Icardi did so.
Ambape, on the other hand, reached the 40-goal mark in which he was involved in his team's win at the factory and did so in three seasons, second only to Robert Lewandowski, who was involved in 43 goals for Bayern Munich in a similar period of time.

The reactions
Killian Ambape was
not so pleased with his ability and his
teammates
: "Right now we are not playing good football, but we are winning. Even for a team like ours it is very important to play well to achieve victories in a calmer way."
The star was chosen as the man of the match and addressed the issue of penalties, after Messi scored and he himself missed in extra time: "Why did I let him kick? It's normal. He's the best player in the world, I respect him. He came here and it's a privilege he came to play with us. "He wanted to give me the other one, I missed conquering."
Team brake
Marcinius
said at the end: "You need to know how to achieve victories even in games that you have difficulty with. The main thing for us is that we got the points and gathered more confidence and experience for the rest of the season."
