Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez became the top scorer in Algeria in the Champions League, after scoring a double in the Citizens' victory over Club Brugge in the match that took place between them yesterday evening in the third round of the Champions League.
Mahrez raised his score to 13 goals to become Algeria's historical top scorer in the European Champions League, one goal ahead of the legend Rabah Madjer, followed by Yacine Brahimi third with eight goals, while Sofiane Feghouli is fourth with six goals.
Riyad Mahrez scored 13 goals during his participation in 36 Champions League matches and has 12 assists.
