2021-10-21T21:22:54.744Z

Olympique de Marseille's draw in Rome against Lazio (0-0) in the Europa League was marked by racist cries from some supporters

The supporters of Lazio in Rome are sadly used to the fact and this case is not going to fix their record. According to Marseille journalists present on site in the press gallery in Rome this Thursday evening, Bamba Dieng the Senegalese striker of OM was the victim of monkey cries descended from the spans of the Olympic stadium. Dieng did not play for long, however. He entered in the 61st minute of the game as Lazio took hold of the game. But this half hour of match was enough to anger the most racist fringe of Lazio supporters who are among the most virulent and extremists of Italian Calcio and European football. Every time he touched the ball, Dieng was treated to outrageous cries. In any case, this is what our colleague from Maritima Media Karim Attab says, present at Stadio Olimpico. When he questioned Marseille coach Jorge Sampaoli, he swears he hasn't heard anything.

👉🏼OM told UEFA that several journalists had heard racist cries against Bamba Dieng.

UEFA will listen to the soundtracks recorded during the match again, which the club will also do.

If this is true, OM will file a complaint.

Warned, the club complained to UEFA, which promised to listen to all the tapes of the match.

If these cries are recorded and audible, the Marseille club which will also resume the entire meeting to listen to any cries will file a complaint.

This will not affect the outcome of the match.

But there are things you should never let go of.
