Russian Angelina Melnikova won the gold medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in the individual all-around competition held in Kitakyushu, Japan.
Melnikova scored 65,632 points based on the results of exercises on the balance beam, uneven bars, basement and floor exercises.
The silver and bronze medals were won by Americans Liann Wong and Kayla de Chilo, while Russia's Vladislav Orazova came in fourth.
The 21-year-old Melnikova won the gold medal in the team events at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo and took the bronze in the individual all-around and floor exercises.
Melnikova also won a silver medal at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro in the team competitions, four gold medals at the European Championships, two silvers and two bronzes at the World Championships.
