Before returning to the Parisian flat racetracks this weekend, the quinté du jour took place at the Paris-Vincennes racecourse.
The European race brought together fourteen competitors, aged 6 to 10 inclusive, on the 2,850 m course, with a fall of 25 m for the horses having won 189,000 euros.
The favorites were in the spotlight this Friday with the victory of
Victor Ferm (
n ° 7) who returned to the top after three runs in the legs. With all four feet unshod this time, he showed his true face despite the fact that he started on a gallop. He took the lead without making any effort in the descent then produced an excellent acceleration, resisting the attacks of
Falco Berry (n ° 4),
who redeemed himself after his three disqualifications
, and Payet (n ° 2)
. His driver Christophe Martens thus won his second quinté on the large illuminated track of Paris-Vincennes.
Behind the
top three,
Valzer di Poggio
(n ° 9) takes fourth place.
This classy walker erases its previous half-hearted outing right here and should quickly return to success.
Freyja du Pont
(n ° 10) completes the finish after being far away during the course.
Note that
Datcha (
n ° 8) and
Equinoxe Jiel
(n ° 12) were at fault and were disqualified.
All of our prognosticators indicated the quinté in the disorder.
