Led by a top scorer David Michineau in the Ile-de-France region (18 points and 5 assists), the Metropolitans 92 were able to recover from a meeting that was however poorly started.
Very quickly led, 26-12 at the end of the first quarter, Vincent Collet's men managed to pick up the score at half-time.
There followed a crossover until the last act where David Michineau closed the lid by scoring a decisive three-point one minute from the final buzzer.
The French leader was well helped by Vince Hunter, author of a double-double (16 points and 10 rebounds), while opposite, Kyvon Davenport and Chris Warren (both 23 points) tried to bring the Orléanais back in the match.
Next meeting, Wednesday, in Eurocup against Polish club Wroclaw.
