Union Berlin awarded the away win against VfB Stuttgart that was believed to be safe in stoppage time.

The hosts were outnumbered by Wahid Faghir (90 + 3) to make it 1-1 after midfielder Atakan Karazor saw two yellow cards within seconds in the 57th minute.

Union's top striker Taiwo Awoniyi (31st) had previously brought the Berliners into the lead.

Union missed the leap to a Champions League place and remains fifth.
