Dorfen - The knot has burst.
With a surprising 6: 5 win (3: 1, 2: 1, 1: 3) at EA Schongau, ESC Dorfen achieved its first success of the season on Sunday.
The hosting third in the table had cleaned the strong promoted team with 6: 5 goals in Kempten on Friday and favored the game against the Isenstadt team, who were still without a win after four games.
But the ice pirates caused the first bang right after the Startbully.
Tomas Vrba had put on a long pass for Urban Sodja, who confidently took the 1-0 lead for the ESC.
The Dorfeners clearly gained self-confidence and were defensive and offensively focused.

Maxi Steiner, who was back for the first time after his four-game suspension from a test match in the Erdinger Herbstcup and harmonized well in the front row with Vrba and Sodja, caught a rebound and increased to 5: 2 (36th).
In the final third, Schongau increased the pressure. The Eispirten had to fear for the tangible victory, because the hosts came up to 4: 5 through Klein and Lavallee by the 54th minute. But Sodja kept his nerve and with his third goal four minutes before the end, he made it 6: 4.
