Galtier's winning coaching
For more than an hour of play, OGC Nice stumbled upon an inspired Anthony Lopes. On several occasions, Andy Delort and Kasper Dolberg have called on the Lyon goalkeeper without finding the flaw. In the 67th minute of play, Christophe Galtier decided to inject new blood and made a triple change. Among the newcomers, Youcef Atal replaced Daniliuc and would literally transform the face of Nice. Untenable on his right side, the Algerian international reduced the mark with a nice strike from the left foot 10 minutes from time.
In the process, Atal made a small subtle bridge on Emerson at the entrance to the area to provoke the equalizer penalty.
Involved on 2 of 3 goals, the right side sounded the revolt of the Aiglons and completely revived the course of the match.
Entered in place of Dolberg in the 83rd minute of play, Evann Guessand took advantage of a deflected pass to score the winning goal in added time.
Coaching that pays off for the Nice trainer.
The rebound of the Niçois
On alternating current with two defeats in the last four Ligue 1 matches, OGC Nice has performed very well in the standings.
Thanks to this success, Christophe Galtier's proteges temporarily seize second place, before the end of the match between Lens and Metz, and the Classic which pits OM and PSG at 9:00 p.m.
Uncompromising at home, the Aiglons retain their invincibility at the Allianz Riviera and assert their ambitions in this championship.
FLOPS
The defensive fragility of the Lyonnais
With 16 goals conceded in 11 matches, the Lyonnaise defense completely failed at the end of the game.
The Gones rearguard has never been able to muzzle the attacking duo Andy Delort-Kasper Dolberg.
Untenable on the front of the attack, Delort and Dolberg have long broken their teeth against an Anthony Lopes of the great days.
Abandoned by his defense at the end of the match, the Lyon goalkeeper can do nothing on the three Nice goals.
Tino Kadewere missed his match
Surprise of the eleven concocted by Peter Bosz, Tino Kadewere was the weak link of Olympique Lyonnais in Nice.
Technically awkward, the Zimbabwean international has often narrowly missed in the last move.
On the hour mark, Kadewere missed the opportunity to give Lyon a two-goal mattress.
Perfectly positioned in the area, the Lyon striker misses the mark.
5 minutes from the end of the game, Tino Kadewere is the author of a dangerous tackle on Melvin Bard.
After viewing the VAR, Mr. Brisard returns the Lyon striker to the locker room.
A turning point that will allow the Nice to equalize and then win in the final moments of the meeting.
