On an increasingly difficult lawn to play on, the zebra girls tried to crack the defense of the Traunsteinerinnen with long balls. At the same time, they did not allow a single possibility in defense. At TSV, each player worked very well individually - but Eching as a team could only provide little danger in front of the opposing box. Mostly, therefore, there were individual actions, which in the end often lacked the necessary ounce of luck. "We just didn't go full throttle enough," criticized TSV trainer Jan Strehlow, who also missed communication on the pitch.

In the second half, the Echingerinnen made better use of the free spaces in the midfield and made more and more beautiful combinations. But euphoria didn’t want to arise, and there were still few options on either side. As a result, there was not enough for the next three - so the zebras would have said goodbye to the relegation battle for the time being. “That was an opponent we could have beaten. But we played to zero again and are satisfied with four points from the last two home games, ”said Coach Strehlow. Nevertheless, he thought it was a shame that his team didn't win against the DJK because the quality of the team would absolutely have given it.

After a game-free weekend, TSV is about to play the next game in front of their home crowd: On Sunday, November 7th, at 3 p.m., Eching awaits the bottom of the regional league with DJK Otting.

“It's a six-point game,” stresses Strehlow.
