Real Betis beat its guest, Rayo Vallecano, by three goals to two, in the meeting that brought them together in the tenth round of the Spanish Football League, La Liga.

With this result, Real Betis raised its score to 18 points to rise to the fourth place temporarily in the table of the Spanish League teams, while Rayo Vallecano's balance was frozen at point 16 in seventh place in the age of the competition.
