Handball: PSG tilts again in the Champions League

2021-10-27T19:08:21.675Z

Beaten by the Poles of Kielce, the Parisians see the direct qualification for the quarter-finals fading away.

They are indomitable on the hexagonal scene.

But in Europe, it's a different story.

Unbeaten in the StarLigue, PSG suffered a new defeat Wednesday in the Champions League in the hall of the Poles in Kielce (38-323. A third setback in six games, which weighs down the chances of the Parisians to finish in the first two of their group and to qualify directly for the quarter-finals of the event.

After losing to Veszprem, then against the Barcelona European champions a week ago, Raul Gonzalez's men have, again, faltered in one of their direct confrontations against one of the big stables of their group.

And even cracked defensively, conceding 38 goals after having already switched at the break with five units behind against the future team of two of theirs, Nedim Remili and Benoît Kounkound.

Dylan Nahi hurt his old team

But rather than talking about future exes, let's talk about an ex, Dylan Nahi.

The former Parisian left winger hurt his ex-partners, finishing Kielce's co-leading scorer with six goals.

Bombarded by the former PSG and his partners, Vincent Gérard only succeeded in deflecting 29% of the opposing shots, where his replacement Yann Genty stopped only one.

Top scorer in the game with eight goals after giving the buzzer victory on Sunday against Montpellier, Mikkel Hansen was not enough this time.

Paris will continue its week with a trip on Saturday to its runner-up in the championship, Aix, to try to definitively kill any semblance of suspense on the national scene.

The reunion with Europe will be on November 17, in Porto.

And this time it will be about not coming back with another defeat.
