San Antonio (3: 1) - LA Lakers (2: 2) 125: 121 (overtime)

Russell Westbrook limped at the start of the season, but it may be all he needed to get into things is one minor injury to LeBron James.

King James suffered from ankle pain, and in his absence Russ looked completely different, loose and explosive as usual, as he along with Anthony Davis marched the Lakers to a second straight win.

After a considered first half it was actually Greg Popovic's team that took the reins and finished the third quarter with a double-digit lead, but Westbrook and Davis with a big last quarter brought the visitors back from minus 12 and managed to force overtime, with Jonathon Marie missing on the buzzer. The Lakers were superior in overtime despite what appeared to be Davis' worrying injury at the end of legal time (since he managed to get back on the floor), and Westbrook's resounding dunk gave the signal for an escape that guaranteed victory. Davis finished with a monstrous stat line of 35 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks, Westbrook had 33 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and Malik Monk jumped to a five instead of LeBron adding 17. The Spurs were led by Jacob Paltel (27 and 14 rebounds), Jonta Marie (21, 15 assists and 12 rebounds, in an impressive evening) and Lonnie Walker (21 off the bench).

Oklahoma City (4: 0) - Golden State (0: 4) 106: 98

Two teams remain perfect in the NBA: in the East this is the impressive Chicago, and in the West Golden State that is coming back, which continues to treat itself again as a great team.

This time Steph Kerry and his teammates worked harder than expected against one of the only tanking teams in the league, falling behind in the first half and needing a third quarter of 17:33 to take the lead with a safety range, which they maintained until the end.

Kerry finished with 23 points and 6 rebounds, and in addition to Drymond Green who scored 8 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists, Andrew Wiggins (21) and Imagination Lee (20) also helped him.

The Thunder was led by Shay Gilges Alexander with 30.
