Real Madrid - Gran Canaria 75:70 (Sport 1)

The seventh round of the Euroleague opened tonight (Thursday) when Olympiacos defeated Fenerbahce 65:67 hard, losing again in a close game.

Bayern Munich defeated Alba Berlin 69:82 away with Tamir Blatt and Yuval Sussman not particularly brilliant.

Milan is back on the winning track after a light 62:79 over the red star Belgrade.

Milan - Red Star Belgrade 62:79

Ettore Messina's team lost their perfect balance last round, and tonight went up like a cannonball to meet the Adriatic League champions.

6:24 was the result of the first quarter to the credit of the host, who gave a knockout to the Red Star.

The visitors managed to stabilize their game a bit in the next two quarters, but did not really get close to Milan, who got a great performance from Shields Shields.

Troy Daniels (12) and Caleb Tratsewski (12) came up very well from the bench of Messina, who returns to win the Euroleague and clings to Barcelona.

Luca Mitrovic scored 17 for the loser.

Olympiacos - Fenerbahce 65:67

A second consecutive heartbreak for the Turks, who lose for the second time in a row on the edge of a basket called right at the end.

In the previous round it was Nikola Mirotic who buried Sasha Georgeevich's side, and tonight it was Kostas Slokas who did it with a winning basket two seconds to go.

Fener remained stuck with a bad 5: 2 balance, while the Reds with an upside balance of 2: 5 and seem to have a very strong team this season.

The man who won the game, Costas Slokas led Olympiacos with 14 points, 5 assists and 4 steals.

Mustafa Pal (9 rebounds), Janolis Larantzakis and Tyler Dorsey scored 10 points each.

Fenerbahce was led by Jan Wesley with 14 points and 9 rebounds, Marco Godoric and Nando de Colo scoring 10 each.

Alba Berlin - Bayern Munich 82:69

Andrea Trincieri's side, who started the season with four losses, are already recording their third consecutive victory and third since Vladimir Lučić returned to business.

The Serbian star did not shine tonight and finished with only 3 points, but Darron Hilliard bombed 25 points and added 6 rebounds, Nick Wheeler Bab contributed 16 points, Othello Hunter finished with 13 points and 8 rebounds (5 on offense) and Bayern looked on the right track.

Alba, on the other hand, was left with 5: 2 when Yuval Sussman and Tamir Blatt had enough play that they would not want to remember.

Sussman finished with 2 points and 2 turnovers, Blatt with no points, with 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 turnovers.

Moodo Lou led Alba Berlin with 23 points, Luca Sikma contributed 10 and 5 rebounds.
