The Syrian Olympic football team tied with its Yemeni counterpart without goals in the second round of qualifiers for the Asian Nations finals, in the match that brought them together today in the Qatari capital, Doha.
The squad for our team in the match included Anas Bitar, Youssef Muhammad, Al-Layth Ali, Ahmed Al-Khasi, Zia Al-Haq Muhammad, Muhammad Rihaniyah, Oliver Qasko, Muhammad Al-Hallaq, Ammar Ramadan, Ali Bashmani and Muhammad Malta.
Our national team opened its qualifying campaign by defeating Sri Lanka 5-0 for the first group and will conclude its matches in the group stage against Qatar next Sunday, knowing that it qualifies for the finals of the top-ranked of the eleven groups in the qualifiers, in addition to the best 4 teams occupying second place.
