The young second row Janeiro Wakeham has signed a three-year hopeful contract with the Parisian club.

A colossus.

A giant.

A lovely baby.

Many qualifiers correspond to Janeiro Wakeham, new recruit of the Stade Français whose arrival was formalized Friday by a “mountain” emoji on the Twitter account of the club in the capital.

The second Fijian line measures 2.08 m and weighs 140 kilos on the scale.

All at 18 for this young player who signed a three-season contract with Paris.

Janeiro Wakeham, born March 14, 2003, started in rugby on his native island with the agreement of the Nabua Rugby Club, before moving to the capital, Suva.

Recruited in the spring by Stade Français, the player was unable to join Stade Français before October because of travel restrictions linked to the health crisis.

Constraints which delayed the issuance of his visa by the local authorities.

Spotted thanks to the Stade Français network on site, the young man will initially stay with hopes to get used to the requirements and particularities of European rugby.

The idea is then to gradually switch it towards the professional group.

Tenth in the Top 14, Stade Français remains on a series of three straight victories.

Gonzalo Quesada's men move to Pau on Saturday (3 p.m.).
