The Russians with a second straight win and very impressive compared to the Blancos who suffered a second loss this season and first after four straight wins when they stopped at just 58 points, much also because of two silly ball losses by Thomas Hartl in the last minute.
Mario Hazonia finished the game with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 turnovers for Kazan, Andrei Vorontsevich contributed 13 of his own and Tonya Jakiri scored 6 and recorded 10 rebounds, Marco Spiso contributed 7 points and 9 assists.
The loser was led by Eddie Tavares with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals, Gershon Yavosla scored 13, Alberto Abalda scored 10.

A week before it hosts Maccabi Tel Aviv, Tonight, Dusko Ivanovic's team suffered a hard and painful defeat in Russia.
The Basques started well and even led already at 21:30, but Zenit's 0:24 run in the second quarter killed the game and the visitors, who scored 7 points in the second quarter and another 7 in the third.
Jordan Lloyd led the winner with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists, Dimitri Collagen scored 12, Billy Baron and Jordan Mickey (7 rebounds) contributed 10 points each.
With loser Jason Granger scoring 13, Simona Pontecchio and Wade Baldwin added 12 each, but that was far from enough in Basconia’s fall display.
Anadolu Zero - Zalgiris Kaunas (20:30)
It is almost inconceivable to say this, but as of today there are almost no teams in the Euroleague against which Anadolu will be considered a favorite.

Dwayne Bacon, Brock Motom, Will Thomas and Leo Westerman are in question at the host, while the Reds will once again go up without Marius Grigonis, Nikola Milutinov and Toko Shangalya.

The two surprises of Wednesday night will hope to take advantage of the back wind to record another win, as in the last four encounters between them the home team has won.
