Barcelona coach Sergei Barjuan presented to Barcelona players (official website)
"Marca" claims: Xavi's signing in Barcelona is a "matter of a few hours".
Last night (Friday) Al Saad, the current team of the legendary former midfielder, issued a "warning" to Barcelona in which she mentioned that he had signed for two more years and was "focused on the team's goals", and the team spokesman also spoke out against Barcelona.
"We have not received any offer. Any club that strives for professionalism should negotiate with the other team whether it is interested in a striker or a coach who is under contract," the Qataris teased.
The local media even claimed that "Barcelona must send representatives to Doha to negotiate directly with the team and solve the problems, because relying on Xavi's will will not be enough. Barça must take advantage of the window of opportunity before it closes."

At the same time, in Spain it is estimated that the statements from Qatar are nothing more than lip service to the fans, and that in fact the crossing is closed. Xavi is set to sign a long-term contract at the club where he became a legend, and will try to bring him back to better days after the departure of Leo Messi, the disappointing start to the season and the dismissal of Ronald Koeman.
"There will be no problems on the way to the crossing," a Qatari official told Marca this morning. In fact, Marca claims that Xavi's arrival in Barcelona will come with "another gift" - a possible renewal of cooperation between Qatar and Barcelona, which was stopped in 2015.
At the time, disagreements arose between Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu and the Qataris that led to the end of the cooperation, but the return of Joan Laporta to the presidency and Xavi as a mediator, may lead to a unification of forces.
Spain estimates that "if Qatari funding returns, so will Barcelona's economic power.
