The Campania derby was held in Serie A for the first time in 74 years (Napoli were in the second division when Sarlanitana played in the Premier League in 1998/99) and despite a stubborn struggle on the part of the rising, it failed to take a point from the proud leader.

The Narazzi are still looking at Napoli and AC Milan from below, but today they recorded their second consecutive victory in the league - as usually happens against Udinese.
