The Moroccan has been the SCO's most prominent player, at least in the opening 45 minutes.
His liveliness and his devastating dribbles did a lot of harm to the Nice defense.
In his characteristic style, he caused a penalty which he himself transformed (29th), allowing his team to open the scoring and take the lead at the break.
He was less efficient in the second half, like his partners, who struggled to find him.
A frustrating result for Boufal who will not however be unworthy.

Baticle's mismanagement
The beautiful story of the start of the season is coming to an end. Attractive during the first matches of Ligue 1, the SCO of Angers has had more trouble lately. This Sunday against Nice, the players of Gerald Baticle had nevertheless done everything to make it work. They were the ones who proved to be the most dangerous in the first period, greatly upsetting an unrecognizable Nice team. The Angevins then materialized their domination thanks to a goal from Sofiane Boufal from the penalty spot (29th). We thought they were then perfectly launched in this match, yes but here is a match lasts 90 minutes. Upon returning from the locker room, Angers completely lost ground. Baticle could not manage his lead and was tactically fooled by Galtier, no doubt for lack of experience. It doesfailed to counter the Nice pressing and made his changes far too late when his team was in difficulty.
The first period in Nice
As often when they play at 1 p.m. this season, the Niçois missed their first period.
Largely dominated by SCO players in the first 45 minutes, Christophe Galtier's men were absolutely unrecognizable.
Apart from the head on the post of Andy Delort at the start of the game, the Aiglons showed practically nothing.
Stumbling against the very well organized Angevin block, the players of OGC Nice did not weigh.
Worse, they were surprised by Sofiane Boufal, scorer on penalty (29th).
