With only four to five defenders, SC Riessersee last played in the ice hockey Oberliga Süd.

Now the White-Blue can set up another defensive player: Filip Hadamczik comes from the Heilbronner Falken.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen -

Czech Republic, Sweden, Austria, Germany.

Filip Hadamczik got around in ice hockey at a young age.

His latest trip took him to Garmisch-Partenkirchen last Sunday.

The 21-year-old watched the major league game between SC Riessersee and the Passau Black Hawks.

Although he did not see an SCR win, he was able to get a first impression of his new teammates.

Because Hadamczik is now running for the white-blue.

Most recently he did that for the Heilbronner Falken in the DEL2.

There he fell through the grid after seven missions, and his tryout contract was not extended.

Training in three different countries

The grandson of the former Czech national coach Alois Hadamczik learned to play ice hockey in his hometown of Opava (Czech Republic). With the domestic third division team he went through the youth academy up to U16. This was followed by the move to the Växjö Lakers - the first Swedish U16 league. After ten games in the U16 and seven in the U18, he returned to his home country. Hadamczik spent a year and a half at the capital's club Sparta Prague and played ten games for the Czech youth teams. The cousin of the Cologne Haie professional Marcel Barinka went on to the Red Bull Academy in Salzburg. In his first year for the U18 team, the 1.81 meter tall and 76 kilogram defender scored an impressive 26 points in 40 games. After two and a half years at the academy, Hadamczik went to Germany for the first time. He signed his first professional contract with the Blue Devils Weiden. Hadamczik, who has a German passport, only made twelve missions due to an injury when the current league leader of the Oberliga Süd played.

The organization has a good reputation for developing young, talented players. "

Now the SCR adventure follows.

Although he admits that he doesn't know much about his employer, "the organization has a good reputation for developing young, talented players".

That is exactly his goal, so Hadamczik showed great interest after his tryout in Heilbronn had ended.

It was mutual as the SCR has been looking for a defender for a long time.

That is also sorely needed, as the White-Blue were often only able to play with four to five defensive players recently.

21 years young, calm and introverted

But what kind of player is Hadamczik?

Coach Pat Cortina is definitely convinced of him: “Filip comes from an ice hockey family.

He's a good skater and knows what to do with the puck.

I hope and think that it will give us pleasure. ”As a loudspeaker, however, it will probably be less of an issue.

Hadamczik describes himself as calm and introverted.

“I think a lot about different things.

Nevertheless, I always try to support and help my teammates, whether on the ice or next to it. ”But now it is time to arrive at the SCR and gain further impressions.

The first was a positive one despite the defeat against Passau: "I am very impressed by the history of the club."
