Serbian Novak Djokovic qualified for the quarter-finals of the Paris International Tennis Championships after his French opponent, Gael Monfils, withdrew due to injury.
Monfils withdrew hours before his match against Djokovic, as today's medical tests showed the extent of the player's muscle injury, so that the Serbian star qualified for the quarter-finals.
He will face the world's number one in the next round, American Taylor Fritz, who in turn qualified at the expense of Britain's Cameron Norrie.
