The investigation, which began in the United States about two weeks ago, about the sexual harassment and racism of Phoenix Suns owners Robert Sarber, was published tonight (Thursday) on ESPN and interviewed more than 70 employees of the club past and present, with one providing the following quote: "If "Commissioner Adam Silver will come to investigate and see what is happening in Phoenix, he will be shocked."

Throughout the article, evidence of racist remarks was made on the part of Saber, when employees said that in one case the owner passed a picture of his wife in a bikini between them and shared with them the sexual acts she committed on him. Former Phoenix player Taylor Griffin said Sarber asked him if he was shaving his pubic hair. It was further alleged that one of the members of the management was stripped of his pants in front of his teammates. In addition, women testified that Sarber treated them as if they were his property, and in one case even asked a woman if she "belonged to him" to find out if she worked at the club.

"The level of misogyny and racism is beyond anything imaginable. It shames me as an owner," said one of Sarber's co-owners of Phoenix, while a former Suns executive added: "Nothing you tell me about his misogyny and racism will surprise me."

Some interviewees also said that Sarber used the word "N", with one of the witnesses being former team coach Earl Watson, who even claimed that the owner threatened to fire him if he did not sever ties with agent Rich Paul (who also represents LeBron James and other stars ).

The article quoted Sarber's response to the use of the aforementioned derogatory word: "This word was never uttered by me, it is an inappropriate and repulsive expression that contradicts everything I believe in."

Suns president Jason Rowley defended the owner in his response to the publication: "This story is completely false. It does not at all reflect Robert Sarber that I know and have worked with for the last 15 years. He is neither racist nor sexist."

Professional director James Jones added: "Nothing of what has been said describes Sarber that I know, respect and love."
