France has expressed interest in organizing the Euro-women's football in 2025, UEFA announced on Thursday.
If the final applications will not be submitted until October 2022, the European Confederation has already launched the process of selecting the future host of the European Championship, who will succeed England, organizer of the competition next summer, after a one-year postponement due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Five "
declarations of interest
" were received by the body, including that of the French Federation (FFF), host of the World Cup-2019 ended in the quarterfinals by the Bleues of the coach Corinne Deacon.
Poland, Switzerland and Ukraine have also expressed their interest individually.
And a joint declaration of interest from the Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish federations has also been sent to UEFA.
The winner of the application process will be announced in December 2022. France has never organized the Women's Euro.
