This Thursday, the French hotel group Accor became an official partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. "The group will provide accredited populations with its know-how and participate in its reception and accommodation throughout France," said the management. of the company.
The partnership will be formalized at the Destination France Summit in Paris, in the presence of President Emmanuel Macron, Paris 2024 President Tony Estanguet and Accor Group CEO Sébastien Bazin.
Among the group's missions, the provision of accommodation for the accredited public, in particular athletes, and reception, concierge and cleaning services in the Athletes' and Media Villages.
The group will also develop a hotel reservation platform to facilitate management during the summer of 2024.
A partnership similar to the one forged with Décathlon
For Marlène Masure, Executive Director of Commercial Development and Marketing for Paris 2024, Accor represents "an important building block in the development" of partnerships for the Games.
"With 13.5 million tickets sold, and millions of tourists expected, this is a historic opportunity to promote our country, its know-how, and create opportunities for our companies", welcomed his Tony Estanguet side, while Sébastien Bazin spoke of teams "already mobilized to bring to life the sense of French hospitality".
While no figures have been communicated, the partnership with Accor is similar to that concluded with Decathlon last July.

Sanofi, EDF, Orange and BPCE are among the Premium partners.
They represent the biggest contributors to the event, with an investment exceeding one hundred million euros.
“We are confident that we will achieve 2/3 of our revenue targets before the end of the year,” concluded Marlène Masure.
The organizers are now looking to develop partnerships in 2022 in other sectors for the management of temporary venues and the equipment of the athletes' villages.
