That duo of Guerrero came after a week earlier in Haifa he came in as a substitute at the break and a few minutes later captured the equalizer after that sweeping breach by Dor Peretz on almost an entire field.

Every time he got minutes he proved himself and did not disappoint and yet he gets only partial confidence. Even if the club know he is the only golden egg currently on the roster, they are not giving Panami enough space. "If there is anyone that Maccabi Tel Aviv can sell in the future for several million, it will be a drag," says a players' agent. "They need to let him play more."

The team members also praise: "Eduardo is one of the highest quality foreigners who came to Israeli football and I say this after seeing a lot of foreigners who came here," a player on the team said of him.

"Coming to Israel at such a young age from the other side of the world and assimilating into a stressful team that wants a championship, it's not easy and he scored 7 goals last season, so he has it. Everyone is sure he will give the club a lot more and that is just the beginning."
