EA Schongau has to deal with two opponents from the midfield of the Bayernliga: the EHC Königsbrunn and the EHC Waldkraiburg.
The situation with the staff is relaxed, coach Rainer Höfler even has to choose among the contingent players.

Experts had expected the EHC Waldkraiburg, at which the “Mammoths” will be a guest on Friday (8 pm), further ahead.
"Waldkraiburg has a top team that may be a little weak away from home," says EAS coach Rainer Höfler about the "lions" who lost in Amberg and Erding.
The Waldkraiburger brought six new players in the summer, including the former Mathias Jeske from Peitingen.
A contingent position has also been filled with the Czech Michal Popelka (eleven points scorer to date).
“If we play well, we definitely have a chance”, Höfler expects a lot, even if the EAS lost the last three comparisons with the EHC.

The record against Königsbrunn looks better, who defeated the "Mammoths" 3-0 in the last season, which ended at the end of the season. Ten newcomers - and Hayden Trupp, a returnee from Landsberg - were recorded by the "penguins" in the summer. Two weeks ago, however, she had to put up with the departure of coach Waldemar Dietrich, who resigned for private reasons. For him, assistant coach Andreas Becher took over the command.
"Königsbrunn is not a bad opponent, but we should be able to win at home," said Höfler confidently.
The optimism is also fed by the improved personnel situation.
After missing half the defense last Friday, it is now almost complete.
Only the use of Philipp Keil (shoulder problems) is questionable.
Höfler does not expect the license player David Kaiser to be involved, as he is probably needed by the upper division Füssen.
In the offensive, the sick Simon Maucher will be missing.
When it comes to foreigners, Höfler is spoiled for choice, as Roman Tomanek is back from home leave.
This means that one of the three contingent players (including Jason Lavallee and Jakob Muzik) has to take a seat in the stands, as only two are allowed to play according to the regulations.
