FC Schwaig conceded compensation at the last minute

A thrilling top game between Eintracht Karlsfeld and FC Schwaig ended 2-2

After the final whistle it felt like a defeat, because the promoted team had already led 2-0 and had a chance to make a decision in the 90th minute.

After a remarkable attack on the left half, Pascal Sattelberger slipped the ball past the goal.

The next possibility was sitting.

After a free kick close to the baseline into the penalty area, Leon Ritter climbed the highest and headed the next goal (41.).

Probably the best half that FC has played in the national league so far was followed by worries.

Midfield motor Hellinger had to leave the field injured a few minutes after the restart.

Later on, Straßer and Mario Simak hobbled off the field.

Nevertheless, the Schwaiger continued to set the tone.

Leon Roth flicked the ball from twelve meters in the direction of the goal, but keeper Krüger held (50th).

He would have been powerless after a free-kick from Johannes Empl, but Nils Wölken headed just past the goal from five meters (59th).

On the other side, Franz Hornof parried brilliantly after a knight header (62.).

Then Ascher had the chance to decide, but from three meters he couldn't really control the ball, so Krüger stole the ball from his foot.

Gradually it became tight for Karlsfeld, which now took the initiative.

They put a lot of pressure on, but they didn't get more than a few small chances to shoot and a lot of hectic in the penalty area.

In the 90th minute, Schwaiger captured the ball in their own half and passed Ben Held.

The player-coach hurried from the center line to the Karlsfeld goal.

He pretended to be on the left, he pretended to be on the right, but the TSV keeper stood still and parried.

Then the counter move: After a corner, a lot of jostling in the penalty area, Michael Dietl started running backwards to the side puller and scored from eight meters to equalize.
