Maccabi Tel Aviv "must raise the bar in the derby".
Dislike of Ben Haim
The Yellows are not blinded by the two victories and the two thirds under Yitzhaki: "It takes time to connect, the derby will be several times harder."
The club did not like Ben - Haim's criticism of Van Leven and feared: "If progress in Europe hurts the chances of the championship, it will be terrible."
And what happens to dragging?

Despite last night's (Thursday) 0: 3 victory over HIK Helsinki and the three goals that joined the three goals scored against Kiryat Shmona last Saturday, Maccabi Tel Aviv is still not satisfied with the quality of the game or the pace.
Despite the duo of victories under Barak Yitzhaki as interim coach, the feeling is that the team has not picked up significantly after the dismissal of Patrick van Leven and that it has a lot of work to do to produce upgraded football.
"We did a lot of things in ten days that we hadn't done before," said a player on the team.
"It takes time to connect and play better."
Already this morning the team will start thinking about the Tel Aviv derby the next day and another player said last night: "We have to raise our level if we want to beat Hapoel Tel Aviv. It will be a game several times harder than we had in the last two games."

Coach Barak Yitzhaki is expected to start a derby with Eyal Golsa in the center of the field at the expense of Tal Ben Haim, who was given a chance yesterday after playing little for Van Leven. The team did not like the criticism that Ben Haim hurled at the fired coach, and Yitzhaki said after the game that he would not use these words instead of Ben Haim.
In yesterday's game, Yitzhaki wanted to open the circle to more players in order to expand the competition for the team, so he gave minutes to Tal Ben Haim, Elon Almog and Ido Shachar. Eduardo Guerrero, on the other hand, continues to dry on the bench and in Yitzhaki's two games as coach, the intern did not get even a minute of play. Yitzhaki avoided expressing a negative opinion of the young striker last night and claimed that he could not give everyone minutes, so Guerrero was absent from the last two games.
Yitzhaki asked the players to dare to attack and be more creative. This is an element that Yitzhaki touches on from the moment he replaced Van Leven and it seems that it is very important for him to give the players confidence and faith in their offensive ability, after Van Leven some of them felt limited.

Beyond the professional aspect and the improvement that is still needed, Maccabi Tel Aviv secured after the victory last night one of the two tickets that lead to the knockout stages of the Conference League and this is another professional achievement for the club with a significant financial dividend.
The Yellows are also recording a significant income from the games in Europe this season and this serves them for the future.
The fact that Maccabi Tel Aviv will continue in Europe, will require it to make adjustments against the league here in Israel and this is no easy task for the Israeli teams.
"The fact that we have succeeded in Europe, requires us to be even more focused in the Premier League. If the stages in Europe hurt the chances of the championship, it will be terrible," concluded one of the players.
